The Charity Challenge of Champions annual event supports many charities including The Crisis Center, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, The Crisis Center Foundation and scholarships for graduating area seniors. Since it's inception in 1992, The Charity Challenge has donated more than $3,100,000 to the various charities through the support of many sponsors. The Challenge, held every fall, includes tennis, golf, and various social events.

Tennis

Your company participants will play in an exciting Team Format Tournament with your colleagues over the three days of the tournament. Team scores accumulate throughout the weekend, and prizes are awarded at the Awards Luncheon Sunday at the Pinnacle Country Club. Each team is captained by a Tennis Pro, such as Cliff Drysdale, Ann Grossman, Tim Mayotte, Kathy Rinaldi, etc. who also plays on their team throughout the weekend. Your company's reps may have a chance to be paired with one of these legends of tennis! Players must play at a 3.0 level or better. The adult tournament takes place on the clay courts at the Pinnacle Golf and Country Club in Rogers, AR., Thursday-Sunday, September 25 - 28, 2008.

Golf

As a benefit, for those in your company who do not play tennis and depending upon your level of sponsorship, your golfers can take part in one of the 2 man scramble golf competitions. Prizes are awarded to the top golfers in each of 3 flights. Your participants will enjoy play at the beautiful Shadow Valley Country Club course on Saturday, September 27. Two shot-gun start scrambles will take place at 8:00 and 1:00. Sign-ups for times are on a first come basis.

Social Events

There are two social events during the weekend. On Friday, a dinner at John Q. Hammons with a live and silent auction. This year we will be featuring several trips, including a wonderful trip to the Wine country of New Zealand or Australia and one to New York and the U.S. Open, glamorous jewelry, household items, outdoor and sports equipment, art, electronics for the entire family, etc.

You won’t want to miss this great evening and a chance to relax and mingle with the pros and your colleagues! On Saturday evening, the fun kicks into high gear with a live DJ and dancing under the tent. Enjoy a night courtside at the Pinnacle Country Club tennis courts as we continue to play tennis, watch our Pros in an exhibition match, eat, drink and dance the night away.
